Divorce and Family Law

Family law is a cornerstone at Tharrington Smith. Family law attorneys at Tharrington Smith are state and national leaders in the field. Five of our lawyers are certified by the North Carolina State Bar as family law specialists and family financial mediators; .  Six attorneys were selected for inclusion in the 2011 edition of North Carolina Super Lawyers*; five are included in the 2011 edition of Best Lawyers® in America**; three are former judges; and three have headed the statewide family law section of the North Carolina Bar Association and are fellows in the selective American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers.
