Divorce and Family Law

Family law is a cornerstone at Tharrington Smith. Family law attorneys at Tharrington Smith are state and national leaders in the field. Five of our lawyers are certified by the North Carolina State Bar as family law specialists and family financial mediators. Seven of our Family Law attorneys have been awarded commendation as North Carolina Super Lawyers* or Super Lawyers' Rising Stars; six are included in the 2012 edition of Best Lawyers® in America**; three are former judges; three have headed the statewide family law section of the North Carolina Bar Association, and are fellows in the selective American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers.
